IFS proudly participated in the recently held Food & Beverage Show 2026, which took place at Central Park, Hulhumalé, from 21st January to 24th January 2026. The event marked an exciting start to the year and was perfectly timed ahead of the holy month of Ramadhan.
With three dedicated stalls and a vibrant food corner, the IFS area was bustling throughout the exhibition. Customers enthusiastically engaged in tasting and sampling, making our stalls a key attraction at the event. Our leading retail brands — Al Kabeer, Lactasoy, and Gills — were actively showcased, receiving excellent feedback from visitors.
Gills introduced its new Jam Range and Bottled Sauce Range during the exhibition. Visitors were delighted to try the new offerings, and the response was overwhelmingly positive.
At the Al Kabeer sampling station, customers enjoyed a wide variety of popular SKUs, including Meat Balls, Chicken Nuggets, Prawns, Fish Fingers, Chicken & Cheese Rings, Malabar Paratha, and many more. The live tasting experience generated strong interest and immediate purchase intent.
Both kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed the newly introduced Lactasoy beverage range, which was available in several delicious flavours and quickly became a crowd favourite.
As part of our Ramadhan brand activation, a special 10% discount was offered to retail buyers interested in purchasing Lactasoy, Al Kabeer, and Gills product ranges. Customers were able to redeem this offer immediately at our IFS Global Wholesale & Retail Shop in Hulhumalé, further strengthening the connection between the exhibition and retail conversion.
Adding excitement to the event, a raffle draw was conducted, and four lucky winners were awarded MVR 1,000 worth of gift vouchers each. The winners can enjoy a wide selection of Lactasoy, Gills, and Al Kabeer products using their vouchers.
The Food & Beverage Show 2026 was an exciting, engaging, and highly successful event for IFS. It provided a valuable platform to connect with both existing and potential customers, introduce new products, and strengthen brand presence in the Maldivian market.
